At The Player’s Tavern, our focus is on accessibility, transparency, and fairness within the trading card game community.

We buy and sell singles with the goal of offering fair prices to sellers while keeping cards as affordable as possible for players.

Our primary focus at the moment is Magic: The Gathering singles, as this is where our community is currently most active. That said, we are always open to expanding into other trading card games as demand grows.

We aim to price our cards in a way that reflects the market while remaining transparent and community-friendly. Sellers can expect honest, market-based offers, and players can rely on fair pricing without unnecessary markups.

We try to keep the process as straightforward and transparent as possible.

Let us handle the sorting

Don’t feel like sorting through binders, boxes or bulk yourself? No problem.

You can send us your collection and we’ll carefully go through everything for you. We’ll create a clear overview of the cards, their estimated value and the offer we can make.

This is the easiest option for larger or unsorted collections and saves you the time of checking prices card by card yourself.

Prefer to sort everything yourself?

If you already have a card list ready, you can also send us a CSV or Excel file with your collection.

We’ll review the list and get back to you with an offer as quickly as possible.

This option is often faster for more organised collections and higher-end inventories.

Staples & high demand singles: up to 70–75%

Highly liquid cEDH staples & Reserved List cards: up to 80–85%

Mid-range singles: 50–70%

Bulk rares & low demand cards: lower rates depending on demand

Sealed products: up to 75%

Examples of high-end staples include cards such as Revised dual lands, Gaea’s Cradle, Mox Diamond and similar highly sought after cards. Final rates depend on condition, language and current market demand.
