2. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, agreements, and services provided by The Player’s Tavern, including but not limited to:

online sales via the webshop

sales via external platforms

physical sales (now or in the future)

events and tournaments

By placing an order or registering for an event, the customer agrees to these terms.

 


 

3. Products and Services

3.1 Product Types

The Player’s Tavern offers:

new products (e.g. sealed TCG products, board games, accessories)

second-hand products (e.g. single cards, collections)

event participation and tournament entries

Some products are unique items (such as single cards) and may differ slightly from images shown.

3.2 Condition of Products

Second-hand products are sold in the condition described. Minor differences in condition or appearance are inherent to collectible items and do not constitute a defect.

 


 

4. Prices and VAT

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

For second-hand products, The Player’s Tavern may apply the VAT margin scheme. In such cases, VAT is calculated on the margin and is not separately itemised on the invoice.

Prices may be adjusted at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

 


 

5. Orders and Payment

5.1 Order Confirmation

An agreement is concluded once The Player’s Tavern has confirmed the order by email or has shipped the order.

5.2 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods may include:

iDEAL

cash or card (for physical sales or events)

other methods as communicated per order or event

The Player’s Tavern reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, errors, or unavailability.

 


 

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Shipping

Orders are shipped using selected carriers such as PostNL. Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.

6.2 Risk and Responsibility

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery to the provided address.

If the customer requests uninsured shipping, The Player’s Tavern cannot be held responsible for loss or damage during transit.

Delivery to neighbours or designated safe places is considered successful delivery.

 


 

7. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

7.1 Standard Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase of new products within 14 days of receipt, unless an exception applies.

Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.

7.2 Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

single cards and other unique collectible items

sealed products that have been opened

event tickets or tournament registrations

 


 

8. Events and Tournaments

8.1 Registration

Registration for events may be done online or on location. Payment may be required in advance or on the day of the event.

8.2 Rules and Formats

Each event has its own rules, formats, and policies as published on the website or event page. Participants are responsible for reviewing these in advance.

8.3 Proxies

Proxy use is allowed or restricted according to the specific event rules. These rules will be clearly communicated per event.

8.4 Changes or Cancellation

The Player’s Tavern reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be informed and refunds may be issued where appropriate.

 


 

9. Liability

Participation in events and visits to The Player’s Tavern (including future physical locations) are at the customer’s own risk.

The Player’s Tavern is not liable for:

loss, theft, or damage of personal property

indirect or consequential damages

losses resulting from force majeure

Liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product or service.

 


 

10. Conduct and Community Rules

Customers and participants are expected to adhere to the community rules and code of conduct as published on the website.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from events or the community without refund.

 


 

11. Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via email. The Player’s Tavern will respond within a reasonable timeframe and aim to resolve complaints amicably.

 


 

12. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Please refer to the Privacy Policy on the website for more information.

 


 

13. Applicable Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
